This is a free dispersed campground located in Parkman, Wyoming. Accessing it can be challenging due to poor conditions of access roads. However, it is a generally very silent campground that can be ideal if you fancy such conditions. This campground doesn’t have water, bathroom, nor electricity connection. Tent camping is the common activity here.

This is a nice campground in Parkman, Wyoming. It doesn’t have a lot of sites but the available ones are among the canyon and beautiful trees. The camping are is basically one road with camp sites on either side. River Tongue is within a short distance from here. There is a short trail near the campground that you can sit by the river and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. You can also make a fire to help defeat the cold conditions at night. This campground is a hidden gem! It is located only a few miles off the highway but it is totally worth it. The campground has a spacious playground that kids can play. Besides, there are several campsites and enough parking space. You can also explore the area for breathtaking scenes. If you love photography, the bridge near this campground is excellent for photos. This campground has access to water and has a few clean toilets. Some of the common activities here include hiking, tent camping, fishing, and swimming.
Baby Wagon Road Dispersed – Buffalo, Wyoming

This is a free camping area found along Wagon Road. It is a large camping area given the extent of the road. There are several campsites on either side of the road. Furthermore, there is a black top parking area on the west of end of FSR 422. This area is adjacent to hwy 16. Bike riding is one of the common activities here, with bikers taking advantage of the flat and well-maintained Baby Wagon Road. You can also engage in tent camping and hiking.
Basin River Access – Basin, Wyoming

This camping area is located in Basin, Wyoming. It is a large campground with several campsites. There is also enough camping space. The maximum number of days you are allowed to camp here is seven. Accessing is generally easy, though the tall tree branches on the entrance drive can be a challenge. Once inside, you will find the space very clean. The campground has picnic tables and several fire rings. As much as there are no hook-ups, you can access a bathroom within 25ft. It is right next to the boat launch and has a better of the area than the other campground. This campground has no running water, but restrooms are available. You can access this campground for free — there is a donation box to the National Forest Service for maintenance. The campground is sizeable enough and there is enough parking space. It is an easy to access campground that can also be a nice boondocking site. The camping area is generally warm during the day and cool at night. It is only half a mile from the highway 287, meaning you won’t have to navigate challenging road terrains. The campground is large in size and can accommodate several campsites. There is also enough parking space. The maximum number of days you are allowed to camp here is 14. Keep in mind that traveling here on week days can be challenging due to high traffic.
Bellyache Flats Dispersed – Big Horn County, Wyoming

This is a free dispersed camping area in Big Horn County, Wyoming. It is found inside the Powder River Ranger District, which is part of the Bighorn National Forest. The campground works on a first-come first-serve basis. Even though this is a small campground, there is enough parking space. This campground has no running water nor restrooms. However, there are a few picnic tables dotted across the camping area. Common activities here include hiking and tent camping.
