Idaho is state found in the Pacific Northwest region of the US. However, these campsites are issued on a first-come first-serve basis. The Bruneau Dunes State Park has a very unique feature – the tallest single-structured sand dune in northern America. The peak of this dune seats at 470 feet above the ground.
To explore the dunes and surrounding environment, you can rent a sandboard or use your hiking boots. You can also use off-road vehicles, which are only permitted on the main road. Thanks to the presence of a lake, you can participate in water-based recreational activities like swimming, fishing, and boating. The lake has a rare species of fish known as bluegill. Other activities in the park are hiking and horseback riding.
