This park gives you breathtaking features of the rugged Big Sur coastline and the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. It exhibits the cultural history of Limekiln and the entire region. This park is managed by the Parks Management Company in conjunction with California State Parks. Limekiln State Park can both be used for camping and for special events like weddings. Located on highway 1, this state park gives you access to a wide range of historical events. Located two miles south Lucia, Limekiln State Park has activities like swimming and camping.
The terrain around here is magnificent, making it possible for you to engage in land based activities like bike riding and hiking. Both RV camping and tent camping is allowed at this state park. The park has numerous campsites with all of them connected to electricity and water. Furthermore, this park allows you to make reservations upto six months in advance.
