    Most Common Lenovo Laptop Problems

There has been a high increase in laptop usage over recent years. However, users need help with their machines which is frustrating and annoying. The quickest way to fix any Lenovo laptop problem is early diagnosis and prompt action so that other problems don’t arise again. Below are some of the most common problems you can encounter with your Lenovo laptop.

    1. Laptop Not Starting

If your laptop is not starting up, it might be for various reasons, the most common being a drained battery. If you deplete your battery and there is no power to operate the laptop, it will not start. Another issue could be the motherboard having damaged components or not functioning properly. In this case, the motherboard needs to be replaced to restore your laptop. The other option might be if debris under the keyboard needs to be cleaned out.

    2. Laptop Black Screen

Lenovo laptop black screen occurs mainly when electronics in a laptop malfunction. It could either be a software or hardware problem. Whatever the reason for the blank screen, it should be fixed as soon as possible to avoid the risk of losing your data or even the laptop itself. The main cause of a blank laptop screen is heat damage, which happens when you leave your laptop running for too long without giving it air conditioning. A faulty power adapter or liquid spillage can also cause it.

    3. Laptop Blue Screen

If your laptop computer screen turns blue, this shows many serious problems that may require immediate attention. Hardware failure in the motherboard will automatically cause a blue screen. These problems are hard to diagnose; hence it’s important to figure out what is causing the blue screen as quickly as possible.

Software problems can also cause a blue screen. This occurs when the OS overloads due to too many applications running simultaneously. It is important to update your system regularly and ensure all applications are used correctly.

    4. Laptop Overheating Issue

This is a common problem for all laptops. It occurs when the machine becomes too hot and causes damage to the system’s internal components. It can happen if your laptop does not have adequate ventilation, especially when you leave it on while charging, where it may get too hot and overheat. The other cause could be your laptop is old and has a damaged fan that is not functioning properly. Placing stuff on your laptop while it’s on can lead to overheating or using an older version of Windows. Always take extra care of your laptop and keep it as clean and cool as possible.

    5. Laptop No Hard Disk Detected Issue

When trying to install Windows 10 on your Lenovo laptop and it’s not detecting a hard drive, you can resolve the issue by resetting the BIOS. Most Lenovo laptops allow the Legacy Boot Mode option that lets the system boot from a CD or a floppy disk. This way, you can use a utility such as Rufus or a CD with an image of Windows 10. Insert the bootable media into your laptop’s optical drive, power on the computer, and select the option to boot from the media when prompted. That is how you install Windows 10 on your computer.
